Since the 311 disaster in Japan, I have been opening the show by having the audience be in silent prayer while I play this piece for fund raising gigs in the US, France and Japan. |
I originally wrote this piece as a late night solo improvisation and collaborated with Ryuichi, who added some beautiful ambient textures to the piece. |
